Tickets


  • How much are tickets?

    Tickets are priced for peak and off-peak sessions. Children over 3 and adults cost either £11 or £12.

    Disabled person concession tickets cost either £9 or £10 and include entry for one carer free of charge. 

    Under 3's are free of charge as long as a paying adult accompanies the child.

    Group tickets admit 4 and cost either £43 or £46.

  • What are peak & off-peak tickets?

    You will need a peak ticket for visits on weekends, as well as public holidays. All other times are off-peak. Some locations have one price with no peak or off-peak sessions.

  • Can I buy a ticket on the day?

    Yes, you can buy a ticket from the ticket booth. Last entry is 4pm Sunday to Thursday and 5pm Fridays and Saturdays.

  • What is a group ticket?

    Group tickets can be used for up to 4 people aged 3 and over. 

  • Do I need a ticket for children under 3 years old?

    Tickets for under 3's are free of charge as long as a paying adult accompanies the child. You will need to select an under 3 ticket (free of charge) for each child under 3. Anyone over 3 will need to purchase a general admission ticket.

  • Are child and adult tickets the same price?

    Yes - children under 3 are free, children over 3 and adults are the same price. Every child over 3 will need their own ticket.

  • Do you offer discounts for carers?

    We offer a concessionary discount of 20% to disabled visitors. Each concessionary discount ticket will admit 1 disabled visitor plus one carer. Please produce a blue badge, DLA or PIP letter (together with photo ID of the person named within the letter) upon arrival.

  • Can I give my ticket to a friend in case I can’t make it?

    Yes, feel free to offer your ticket to friends, or family if you can’t attend.

  • Can I get a refund for my ticket?

    Tickets are non-refundable, but the date can be changed for an admin fee as per our Terms & Conditions. Please log into your ticket account to change dates.

  • Will I get a refund if it rains?

    Sorry no. Dinosaurs in the Park is an outdoor event and rain is to be expected.

  • Can I arrive after my ticket time?

    Yes, tickets are valid for the day you purchased for, although when you book it gives a time slot you can arrive anytime with a standard ticket if needs be. If you have purchased a discounted after 3pm ticket,then entry with this ticket is limited to 3pm and onwards only and can not be used for entry before this time.




Event


  • Are all activities free once I paid the entrance fee?

    The Dinosaur trail, Interactive Dinosaur design studio, Videosaurus, Palaeontologists tent, Excavation Dig, Soft Play, Mini Golf and Dino Kingdom Bounce are included.

    An additional charge applies for Bungee Trampolines, Bumper Carz, Disney Carousel, Come Fly with Me Baloon Carousel, Train Merry-go-Round, and the Giant Sauropod Ferris Wheel.

  • Is it an outdoor event?

    Dinosaurs in the Park is an outdoor event, so please come dressed in appropriate clothing.

  • Can I buy food and drinks at the event?

    Food and drinks will be available to be purchased at the event. Food vendors include: burgers, pizza, ice cream, vegetarian options, sweets and slushies and more

  • Can I bring a picnic?

    Yes, you can, we have picnic benches and deck chairs but in case they are busy don’t forget your picnic blanket.

  • Can I bring my dog along?

    Only guide and registered assistance dogs are allowed to enter Dinosaurs in the Park

  • What time is last entry?

    Last entry is at 4pm.  We close at 6pm on weekdays and  7pm on weekends and bank holidays.

  • How long can you stay?

    Your ticket is valid for the whole day, stay as long as you like!  The discounted, after 3pm tickets are only valid from 3pm on the day.

  • Can I touch the dinosaurs?

    No, please don’t touch the dinosaurs on the trail. They might bite! There is a roaming dinosaur you can stroke and have selfies with. Visit the dino dentist to touch a T-Rex!

  • Can I bring scooters or bikes?

    Scooters and bikes are better left at home, as we cannot store them.

  • What is your return policy for gift shop returns?

    If an item is faulty please return it to the gift shop for a refund within 14 days with proof of purchase. Non faulty items will not be refunded. 

  • What time do I arrive if I have a competition ticket?

    Anytime between 10am and the last entry, your ticket is valid all day.

  • What is the quiet session?

    On the last Thursday of each event, we offer a quiet session in the afternoon, after 3pm no music or dinosaur noises will be played. This is so that everyone can enjoy the event if they are noise-sensitive. 


Facilities


  • Is the event wheelchair accessible?

    Our event is set within Park locations. Please check individual locations' websites for exact accessibility information. Some locations do have an incline. The trails are set within woodland which maybe difficult to access in a wheelchair. Please note, that in case of heavy rain event fields might become quite sodden making it harder to use a wheelchair. 

  • Will there be accessible toilets?

    Toilets can be found in several locations across the event. There is an accessible facility on site.

  • Are there baby facilities and changing facilities for older children?

    Yes, we have a baby changing area with comfy chairs for feeding and change mats our toilet facilities have change tables with straps. Please check the stated maximum weight for change tables as displayed on each table for older children.  

  • Is parking free?

    Depending on our location there may be a parking charge. Please see the locations page on our website for more information.
